Qualifications
Over 22 years in the Automotive Aftermarket Business both in Retail and as a Manufacturer's Representative. I have been involved both with the selling of major Automotive Distribution Warehouses as well as new store setups and the sell-through of product on the installer level. These clients have included Fast Undercar, APW, Hanson's Distributing, One Stop, Pacific Supply and Completes Plus, just to mention a few. I also train and in many cases give product seminars and clinics as well. There is no better tool than education.
Work History
Trak Auto: Store Manager/ District Manager
Training of future store managers. Store plan-o-grams and set-ups. Making sure stores were running profitable and clean.
Manufacturer's Representatives: Warehouse Manager
Responsibility for setting up a fee warehouse for many major Automotive Aftermarket lines. Computer input and output, scheduling deliverys and pickups to the market place.
Manufacturer's Representatives: Sales and Marketing Manager
Responsibilities were selling Automotive Accounts from San Diego to Bakersfield. Was also responsible for yearly sales increases. Gave sales clinics and on hand trainings, not only to the Warehouse Distributors, but to the installers as well. Was involved with every aspect of new location setups, line changeovers, including re-labeling, re-numbering and placement of new product lines within the customer's structure. Was also responsible for all Excel spreadsheets both for the customers and manufacturers.
Achievements
Awarded "Salesman of the Year, 2003" at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas, for highest increase in sales by a major Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturer.
