Over 25 years in the Automotive Aftermarket. 18 years as a Manufacturer’s Representative all in the Arizona and Southern Nevada territory. Ed offers an extensive background in sales and management. His experience includes all aspects of regional sales and marketing, distribution, consulting, product advertising, service, and training.
Work History
Maremont Corporation: District Manager
Responsibilities were to maintain and implement various sales promotions and advertising campaigns for the Traditional Automotive Warehouses, National Accounts, and Fleets Accounts. While looking for new customers to broaden the territory coverage and to increase revenue.
HLS Distributing Company: Sales Manager
Responsible for all sales and marketing for the largest auto parts distributor in the state of Arizona in the mid 1980’s.
Pacific Automotive Representatives: Sales Representative
In 1986, Ed began his life as a rep. He had all sales responsibilities for Arizona and Southern Nevada. The territory he inherited was only producing 1.2 million. By 1989, he had increased the volume to just under 3 million.
The Mittelman Group: Account Executive
In 1989, PAR merged with MWP. The merger brought together two different types of agencies. PAR had a hard part traditional focus. MWP was retail oriented. Ed was able to broaden his account responsibilities, develop new markets, and grow his customer base.
